Rihanna Inspired Awards Makeup look

Hey loves! I watched a YouTube video from one of my favorite beauty gurus named Eman (check her out!). She recreated a Rihanna inspired makeup look from an awards show she attended last year. She used a gunmetal eyeshadow on her lids, mixed with a light silver toned eyeshadow and MAC Green Smoke on the inner lid area. I also used the light silver shade in my inner corners. For the crease, I used two different shades of an orange eyeshadow and a matte brown was used to deepen the crease. A subtle purple shade was applied to the inner crease to give it more color and dimension. I smoked out the outer corners with a matte black eyeshadow and there goes the finished makeup look! It’s a fairly easy look that beginners can do and it creates a lot of drama! U guys can also check out Eman on YouTube for her recreation and a tutorial on how to achieve this look. Thanks for viewing!

Keepin it Simple but Sexy

Hey guys! I did a simple eye makeup look today (simple to me lol) using a white eyeshadow base for multi colors. I used a peach, shimmery shade in the inner portion of my eyes, a pastel green for the middle of the eyelids and a purple shimmer and a purple matte for the outer portion of the eyes. In the crease, I used a matte soft blue shade, a forest green in the center of the eyes and some gray mixed into the crease. I used MAC Stars N Rockets as a transition shade. I hope u guys like this colorful, yet not in ur face, eye makeup look! Enjoy!

Bedroom Eyes – Sultry and Seductive

Hey beauties! Here is another look for this week that I call, “Bedroom sexy.” For those of you who have been following my blog, you know that I love a lot of shade and drama! (On my eyes, of course πŸ˜‰ ) I created a dark, grey smoky eye with little hints of orange and a pink/purple shade in the mix. I darkened the crease using a matte black and grey eye shadow combo to achieve this look. I also added some grey pressed pigment on the lid, mixed with a little gold. This look is PERFECT for a date night with your boo or for going out on a date and wanting to go for a sexy look. I used a soft purple lipstickΒ (MAC Up the Amp) on my lips. I’m definitely feeling the dark eyes and drama that this look is giving… it definitely made me feel sexy! Please like this look and comment! Thanks for viewing!! FullSizeRender (2)FullSizeRender (1)

Colorfully Sexy with the BH Cosmetics 88 Color Palette Shimmer Eyeshadow

So, I’ve been using my BH Cosmetics 88 Color Palette of Shimmer Eyeshadows a lot more recently. I didn’t really like this palette at first, because I felt like the eyeshadows weren’t pigmented enough and the texture of these eyeshadows were a bit on the chalky side. After using it a couple of more times, I realized that some of the colors are more pigmented than others in this palette. I mainly explored the green eyeshadows, purple, black and gold eyeshadows so far and I really like these shades. They were pigmented and easy to blend, so I really liked that. I got this palette for $13 from the BH Cosmetics website, and I really feel like this palette is pretty good for its price. It’s great for people who are new to makeup and wanna explore different colors. A pro makeup artist can definitely benefit from this palette as well. Anyway, here are the looks that I came up with from using some of the colors in this palette. Thanks for viewing!

Hot Like Fire

Hey guys! I am really feelin this eye makeup look that I did today! I wanted to create a look that had some brown, orange, and red eyeshadows in it. I also wanted to wear my new MAC lipstick in Morange, since it’s such a pretty color and compliments my skin tone well. I used the BH Cosmetics Party Girl Palette and NARS Mekong eyeshadow, with a Facefront Cosmetics pigment in Hyper Viper on the center of my lids. This is what I came up with…thanks for viewing!

Sexy Beach Eyes

Happy Friday! I was planning on goin to the beach today with a few friends, but the weather is lookin really sucky right now, smh. Anyway, I wanted to do a beach-inspired eye makeup look that has blue, green, gold, bronze and some brown in it. I know a lot of you guys probably won’t wear a face full of makeup to the beach, but it’s a good idea for a beach party or something. Since the weather has been really warm these last couple of days in NY, I’ve been staying away from wearing foundation on my face. I have oily skin, so I don’t want my face to be too packed with makeup. I want my skin to be able to breathe a bit, so I just have some tinted moisturizer on my face with some powder. I have dark, acne scars on my face as well, so I always cover that up with some concealer. Anyway, here’s the overall look…I hope guys like!

2 for 1 Special :-)

Hey guys! Today, I am posting my makeup from yesterday and today, since I didn’t really get a chance to post anything yesterday. Yesterday’s makeup was a sultry, sexy makeup look that was reminiscent of Kim Kardashian’s makeup. Her makeup artist usually does a deep, smoky eye look on her, so I did a look that was similar but not too over the top. As for today, I did a brown and green eye makeup look, with the green being the focal point on the center of the lids. I added some green and pink glitter to the center of my lids to give it more flare. If you have any questions whatsoever about the products I used or on techniques, please comment below and I will respond to you. Don’t be shy! Enjoy the rest of your night!

Friday’s Look: Midnight Sexy Eye Makeup

Hey guys, I hope you are enjoying this gorgeous Friday! I’m a little under the weather, but I’ll be ok πŸ™‚ Today, I did a dramatic, dark look (my favorite kinda look) that has some color and some glitter to it. This look is perfect for a party, a sexy date, etc. Anyway, I hope you guys like the look!

Products Used:

NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean – Applied this all over the lid and blended it out with my finger.

MAC Print – Using a blending brush, I smoothed over the harsh lines from the black base with this color.

NARS Night Breed – Applied this all over the black base with a blending brush to set the black, creamy pencil on my lids.

NARS Strada – Applied to the inner one-third of my eyes with MAC 239 (flat shading brush).

Body Bling Cosmetics pigment in Blue – Applied to the center of my lids with MAC 239 brush.

Dark Green eyeshadow and black matte eyeshadow from Sleek Bad Girl Palette – Using a tapered blending brush, I mixed these two colors and applied it to the Outer V of my lids.

MAC Stars N’ Rockets – I lightly pressed this color over the Strada eyeshadow in the inner one-third of my eyes and swept this color above my crease toward the outer part of my brow.

NARS Night Life – Using a pencil brush, I applied this in the inner corners of my eyes and swept it up toward my brow bone.

NYX Midnight liquid liner – After lining my eyes with a dark pencil, I applied this liquid liner to the outer half of my upper lash line.

NYX Extreme Plum liquid liner – Applied to the inner half of my lower lash line.

NYX Blue Mascara – Combed through my lashes with this blue mascara (very pretty mascara and the blue is not too bright).

NYX Candy glitter in Pink – Applied above my liner on top lash line.

I know I used a lot of products, but that’s what I did to achieve this look. If the look is too dark for you, you can always substitute the darker colors with lighter colors..whatever works for ya! I used a pink lip gloss from NARS called Pillow Talk and a pink blush from Maybelline. Thanks for viewing!
